Alfred University’s campus subscription to EndNote ends in December 2026

Alfred University has decided not to renew the institutional EndNote subscription.

As an alternative, Alfred University Libraries recommends that researchers use Zotero for reference management and citation generation. Current EndNote users will have until December 2026 to export their EndNote libraries or purchase a personal EndNote subscription.

For assistance with the transition:

• ITS can support users who encounter issues installing Zotero on their University devices.
• AU Libraries can help users set up and use Zotero.

Zotero provides extensive documentation, including:

• Quick start guide
• Installation instructions
• Exporting an EndNote library and importing it to Zotero
