While at IEA I developed new work exploring ideas of agency located in tropical spaces of western expansion.
I was able to finish 4 laser cut woodblock relief prints, experiment with lithographic methodology and test out ideas using a dye sublimation printer. The images were drawn by hand and scanned into a computer before being laser etched onto a wood block. The image was then relief printed onto a color gradient.
I was able to test color palettes for future projects that deal specifically with light and color.
