IEA Director Joseph Scheer returned to Changchun to continue the joint project with Jilin University of the Arts and the provincial governments of the Changbai area, July 10-August 10, 2019

Biodiversity of the Moths of Changbaishan project update. Collected several locations over the period at 4 locations in Changbai mountain, the specimens were then brought back to Jilin University of The Arts and scanned. Over 300 specimens are having prints made for a large traveling exhibition of prints. Also, an artist book of 50 selected species is in production. The exhibition was planned for 2020 but has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Works are currently stored at the joint IEA and the University of the Arts international studio in Changchun China.
