From Brooklyn, New York, artist Diana Cooper recently had an extended residency at the Institute for Electronic Arts. Known for her gallery spanning installations of digital prints, painting, and photographic work, Cooper utilized the IEA’s digital printing facilities to produce a multitude of prints for a future installation at the Postmasters Gallery, 459 West 19th Street, New York, NY.

Cooper plans to further work the prints displayed here. By cutting, folding, and marking them during the install, Cooper plans to bring the images further into the space of the gallery. Due to Superstorm Sandy, the opening date for this show has been pushed back and will be opening at Postmasters Gallery on January 5th, 2013.
