From June 29-July 5, Residency Coordinator and Technical Assistant, Brig Bogue was an artist-in-residence at Signal Culture. Brig spent the week learning about the unique equipment in the Signal Culture studio, making work, and having generative conversations with Signal Culture co-founders, Jason and Debora Bernagozzi.
Signal Culture encourages creation of new work, building of community, and connection to history in the field of experimental media art by providing artists, researchers, and innovators with residencies, resources, and exhibition opportunities. The Signal Culture Artist in Residence program offers time, space and studio access for artists in the field of experimental media art. The Artist Studio features a wide range of media tools, both new and old, for use in a realtime audio/video/data processing system. Our philosophy is to create a space for experimentation and for artists to develop a dialogue with the range of tools available.
