Powerhouse Arts / IFPDA
Established in 1987, the IFPDA is the preeminent international membership organization for galleries, dealers, and publishers specializing in prints and editions. Join us at the Park Avenue Armory, April 9 – 12, 2026 for the IFPDA Print Fair, a celebration of 550+ years of prints and printmaking.
Powerhouse Arts is housed in a purpose-built facility in Gowanus, Brooklyn, on Lenape land. It hosts an extended network of art and fabrication professionals and educators who work together to co-create and share artistic practices vital to the wellbeing of artists and their communities.
Director Myles Calvert attended the 2025 IFPDA Print Fair and the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair at Powerhouse Arts during NYC Print Week, held March 24–30, 2025. The IFPDA Print Fair took place at the Park Avenue Armory from March 27 to 30, featuring over 76 exhibitors and attracting an estimated 20,000 visitors. Programming highlights included artist talks with Christiane Baumgartner, Mickalene Thomas, and David Salle, as well as panel discussions on German Romantic prints and Black artists in Mexico.
Simultaneously, the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair was hosted at Powerhouse Arts from March 27 to 30, showcasing contemporary printmaking with participating IFPDA members such as Stewart & Stewart and Two Palms. Calvert’s engagement with both fairs provided him with insights into current trends in printmaking and opportunities for professional networking within the printmaking community. The iea looks forward to representing current artists in our collection through ieaEditions during future years.
