Everyone is welcome to our public stargazing nights. Join us for views through the historic Fitz refractor and more. We have the following dates and times below for you to join us, weather permitting. We are only open on clear (not cloudy) nights. You can check out the observing conditions in the menu. We are open during our semesters September through Mid December, February through beginning of May, and in summer during June and July.
Parking
If you are able bodied, we ask you park down near the trail head and walk up our driveway to keep headlights to a minimum. If you need an accessible space your are welcome to come up and park close to the classroom building.
Observing
- Note some of our telescopes do require steps/ladders.
- Please no smoking of any kind at the observatory (inside or outside)
- Please limit white light use, refrain from flash photography, bright lights, and light up shoes.
