Thaumatology opened on Friday, March 27th. The show is a collection of work from the students of the Division of Expanded Media at Alfred University. With a variety of artists and media including Design, Print Media. Video. Sound and Interactive art.

March 4 – April 3, 2015 Opening Reception: Wednesday, March 4, 7-9 pm Fosdick-Nelson Gallery, Gallery Hours: Wednesday – Friday 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 1-3 p.m.Cost to Attend: Free/Open to public, Variantology has been conceived as an international research project with the aim of developing a critical appraisal of the established concepts of “media.”Featuring work by faculty and staff from the Division of Expanded Media: Peer Bode, Xiaowen Chen, William Contino, Andrew Deutsch, Gerar Edizel, Mark Klingensmith, Barbara Lattanzi, Judy Livingston, Joseph Scheer, Katherine Vajda, Devin Henry, and Alex Williams.The show will include: video projections, large-scale digital prints, painting, digital wood cut and screen prints, multi-channel video installation, graphic design, sonic art installation, handmade books, and zines.
