[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Eric Ramos Guerrero is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City whose work investigates ideas of the west<\/i> through landscapes of suburban California, the US\/Mexican border and the tropical spaces of migratory expansion. Ramos Guerrero exhibits work internationally, including Ditch Projects Oregon, The Drawing Center NY, El Museo De Barrio NY, The Knockdown Center NY, Beaux Arts FR, Museum of Contemporary Art Vojvodina, White Box NY, ICPNY, Inside-Out Museum Beijing, Mathilde Hatzenberger Gallery Belgium, and Green Papaya Philippines.\u00a0 Eric has been a resident artist at The Drawing Center, Marble House Project Residency, and Triangle Arts Organization.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n While at the iea I developed new work exploring ideas of agency located in tropical spaces of western expansion.<\/p>\n I was able to finish 4 laser cut woodblock relief prints, experiment with lithographic methodology and test out ideas using a dye sublimation printer. The images were drawn by hand and scanned into a computer before being laser etched onto a wood block.
