During her residency, Chen researched possible new production approaches for her work in video and sound. Chen worked with real-time processing including alpha transparency techniques which require less processing that Chroma Key. She also worked with VR modeling and texturing and tried out VR texture mapping with new Expanded Media Faculty, Eric Souther. In the iea studio, Chen worked with audio and edited a WIP version of her video The Sin Park. which was exhibited on the TSI \/ Harland Snodgrass Media Gallery. Lastly, Wang tested some of her videos in the Immersive Gallery experiencing movement and intensity of her projects when projected at full-room scale.<\/p>\n<p>Chen Wang (b.1991, China) is a multimedia artist who currently lives and works in NYC. She received her MFA in Photography from RIT in 2018 and BFA in Painting from VCU in 2014. Her work has been exhibited\/screened internationally including China, UK, US, Sweden, Venezuela and Greece.
