{"id":1329,"date":"2015-03-02T13:21:11","date_gmt":"2015-03-02T13:21:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.alfred.edu\/iea\/?p=1329"},"modified":"2026-02-02T18:00:30","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T23:00:30","slug":"invaluable-exhibition-by-andre-erdos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.alfred.edu\/iea\/2015\/03\/02\/invaluable-exhibition-by-andre-erdos\/","title":{"rendered":"Invaluable: Exhibition by Andrew Erdos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text]The iea is pleased to share news of an exhibition by iea artist <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.alfred.edu\/iea\/2015\/01\/29\/artist-in-residence-andrew-erdos-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Andrew Erdos<\/a> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.claireoliver.com\/exhibits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Claire Oliver Gallery<\/a> of New York, NY.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew&#8217;s exhibition, <em>Invaluable<\/em>, comments on mankind&#8217;s attempts to find a scientific underpinning in his search for explanations through faith, be it religious, philosophical, or mystical. <em>Invaluable<\/em> investigates these constructs and the conceptual departure point for Andrew&#8217;s new work, which is realized through sculpture and photography.
