FLATSITTER is an interdisciplinary collaboration that incorporates video, software programming, performance and installation. Based out of Buffalo, the team often performs live-cinema at DIY spaces and exhibits installation works at the sites of locally owned businesses.<\/p>\n<p>FLATSITTER primarily focused on three projects. First was <em>DISCREET UTOPIAS: Live Cinema Performance<\/em>, which saw Jax and Kyle recording live performances generating and processing their previously recorded material through our analog video and sound equipment, such as the Sandine and Doupfer modules. Related to the above project, <em>DISCREET UTOPIAS: Virtual Reality Performance w\/ Oculus Rift<\/em> was a study in taking the above concept of live cinema performance into a virtual reality space via the emerging technology of the Oculus Rift. Finally, FLATSITTER worked on generating sound for editing a short film project entitled <em>\/\/Ladybug<\/em>, which centers around footage and audio captured at the Erie County Fair.
