Dear families,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leaves have finished falling across campus, and the cooler temps have students breaking out their winter coats. Where did the weeks go? In this season of gratitude, I am thankful to be part of this wonderful University, its students, and their families. I hope that when you connect with your student, they have great things to share with you about their Alfred experience. I’ve included some questions that will encourage them to share their thoughts in the article “Conversation Starters.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, we were ecstatic with the response to Family Weekend this year. Over 500 of you registered and participated with us in Alfred at the beginning of October! I hope that you made some memories and had some quality time with your student. We got some fantastic photos and have shared them on our Alfred University Flickr page.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have planned three webinars for next semester for all Family Association members (that’s you!), which you can read about later in this newsletter. I hope you can attend them or watch later. (They will be posted on our website.) I believe you will find them helpful!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, I’m open to your feedback on the programming we put together for you. I’m grateful to have you and your students as part of the Alfred family and look forward to connecting again soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
