Students must depart campus during these breaks. If your student cannot leave campus during a break, they need to apply through Residence Life. Housing during a scheduled break incurs a separate charge outside of the housing license. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For winter break, we ask that students depart 24 hours after their last final, or by Saturday, December 16,&nbsp;at 10 a.m., whichever comes first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please plan students travel based on our pre-determined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alfred.edu\/student-life\/living\/recess-shuttle-schedule.cfm\">shuttle schedule<\/a>. Two weeks before a break, we open the reservations for that shuttle period. All students will also receive a confirmation 48-72 hours prior to their chosen shuttle.
