Favorite Alfred memory – My favorite Alfred memory must be Hot Dog Day. I love this weekend because the number of alumni, families, and friends who come to Alfred brings joy to my heart. I’ve always been one to love seeing people brought together for one event and this has got be the greatest one. 

Advice to parents of current students – My advice to parents is to ALWAYS PICK UP THE PHONE. Always be there for your kid. I don’t think I would’ve made it through college without my mom. If it wasn’t for her just calling to check in for 5 minutes or if I have had anxiety and called her, she always answered. Just be present for your kids because college can take a toll on them.
