Saxon Football Update

The 2023 season ticket prices, parking and tailgating policies and purple stadium seat sales have been set.

After a Washington, D.C. trip to Catholic University and a bye week this month, the Saxons open Empire 8 play when they host the Homecoming game against Morrisville State College on Saturday, October 7 at 2:00pm.

The final two home games of the 2023 campaign are against Utica University on Saturday, October 21, at 12:00pm and against Hartwick College on Saturday, November 4, at 2:00pm. The Hartwick game is also Hall of Fame Weekend.

Purple Seat Reserved Tickets
This season will be the first year that Saxon fans can purchase reserved tickets for purple stadium seats. Each reserved purple seat ticket will cost $7. Fans will have the option to select their seat based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans wishing to have the same seats for all of home games can purchase those passes at the gates as well.

Parking
Due to the construction of the new bridge over the Canacadea Creek on Pine Street, a new driveway was constructed for fans to reach the McLane Center parking lot. The driveway is located on the south side of McLane, connecting the parking lot and North Main Street. In years past, the lawn area was used an auxiliary parking lot during football games but will be unavailable. Instead, parking will be made available at the area that previously housed the Alfred University motor pool, just a short walk away from the back entrance to the stadium. Parking will also be available by Ade Hall.

Current Alfred University students will be directed to park their cars by their dorms/apartments and walk to the stadium.

Tailgating
Fans wishing to set up tailgate sections for pre/post-game activities are asked to keep them confined to their parking section. No food or beverage will be allowed into the stadium and bags will be checked by Alfred University Public Safety.

Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed at home sporting contests moving forward.
