National Mentorship Month

January is National Mentoring Month! Our primary goal is to help students find their purpose so that they can thrive and succeed in and out of the classroom. Sometimes it can be challenging for students to make that transition, but mentoring provides extra support to help new students find their footing in college or soon-to-be-graduates find their place in the world beyond the walls of higher ed.

Established in 2002 and recognized yearly by the U.S. president and administration, National Mentoring Month is a time to celebrate the power of mentoring and encourage your students to explore how mentoring programs can enable them to create meaningful connections that will help prepare them for post-graduation success. Have your student contact the Career Development Center for help with identifying mentorship opportunities on and off campus!
