Alfred University’s third annual “All In for Alfred” Day of Giving returns this December, uniting the Alfred community for 1,836 minutes of giving—from 8 a.m. on December 4 to 2:36 p.m. on December 5.
Since 1836, Alfred University has been powered by people who care—students, alumni, faculty, staff, families, and friends who believe in its mission and community spirit. The Day of Giving celebrates that tradition, calling on Saxons everywhere to come together in support of students and all that makes Alfred extraordinary.
“Our Day of Giving celebrates the experiences—on campus, in classrooms, studios, and labs, through mentorship, research, and creative collaboration—that help students grow and realize their purpose,” said President Mark Zupan. “Every gift helps us continue offering those transformative opportunities.”
Whether it’s a gift of $18.36, $1,836, or any amount in between, every contribution helps provide real opportunities for Alfred University students. Donors may choose to support the Alfred Fund, which strengthens areas such as academic innovation and student experiences across campus, or to an area that is most meaningful to them.
“The energy of our Day of Giving reflects the heart of the Alfred community,” said Erin Martinovich, Vice President for University Advancement. “Every gift counts, and together, we make a lasting impact on students’ lives.”
Supporters don’t have to wait until December 4 to participate—early gifts count toward the goal and can be made anytime at go.alfred.edu/1836.
