As students start to prepare for finals, please encourage them to connect with the Center for Academic Success. 

The Center for Academic Success provides tutoring for a variety of courses. For any course that is not supported through tutoring, students can meet with a study buddy (a peer tutor who will use study strategies to help scaffold the students learning) or with one of our staff members for academic consultation and work on any college success skill they need to address. These services are free of charge and are on a drop-in basis.

In recent semesters, our staff members have had success in helping breakdown larger projects or daunting exams to become more manageable and in turn help your student succeed to their best ability. 

Please encourage your student to utilize these resources proactively rather than waiting until the semester’s end. To further enhance their sessions, students encourage them to bring any relevant materials to the session.
