Hot Dog Day is Alfred’s yearly street fair celebration sponsored by both AU and Alfred State that raises money for local non-profit organizations. Student groups from both campuses participate in the planning and running of the day; there are food vendors, craft and art vendors, and of course, hot dog stands. Hot Dog Day is open to the public and is a family-friendly event that encourages Alfred’s two colleges to come together and support our community.
