In addition to teaching library instruction, this librarian will also serve as Team Leader for the Alfred University Libraries Instruction and Liaison Team to successfully implement current, research-based, information literacy instruction in the classroom.\u00a0 As well as provide overall leadership for the planning, programming, delivery, evaluation, and assessment of the Libraries\u2019 instruction program.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-1181 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.alfred.edu\/aulibrarynews\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2015\/04\/book-happy.jpg\" alt=\"book happy\" width=\"155\" height=\"116\" \/>Alfred University houses the New York State College of Ceramics, a Statutory College of the State of New York, creating a unique public-private partnership. One result of this <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-2378 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.alfred.edu\/aulibrarynews\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2019\/01\/solidworks-computers-web.jpg\" alt=\"solidworks-computers-web\" width=\"224\" height=\"149\" \/>distinctive arrangement is that Alfred\u2019s students, faculty, and staff are served by two libraries: The Samuel R.
